Spooky Season is upon us…
And although I tend to lean on the subtle side of Halloween decor, it’s still fun to add a few moments around my home to celebrate the season.

Make A Statement
Keep your Halloween display to one area of your home. Instead of spreading little accents around several spaces, gather your decor in one area, such as the entryway or a display cabinet, or the dining room for an impact.
This requires less seasonal decor and makes switching to the next holiday much easier.
Color Palette
Blend your festive accents into your everyday home decor to mimic nature. Accent with muted tones of burnt orange, yellows, and dark browns or blacks just as you would find at the end of fall. These colors keep a cohesive look with the traditional autumn decor you already have displayed.

October-esque Decor
Simple Accents
NO.1 Artwork
Printable artwork is the easiest way to add a bit of spookiness. Look for moody landscapes for a minimalistic style, or have fun and display a playful character!

NO.2 Candles
Nothing says Halloween like a black flame candle, right? Try adding a touch of black with taper candles, candle holders, or smoky votives. During the day the color lends itself well to traditional Halloween decor, and light them at night for a spooky ambiance of dancing flames.

Moody Lighting
NO.3 Foliage
Nature is the best inspiration this time of year. Dried florals, like wheat or corn husks keep a muted palette and add texture. For a budget-friendly option, try forging your own backyard for sparling branches. You can even remove the leaves for an added touch.

Halloween-worthy Greenery
Whether you love to add a bit of Halloween decor to your home or prefer darker textural tones in everyday decor, either way is a perfect way to celebrate this season!
